Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a MuleSoft Lead Designer to be a part of the Information Technology
Services Organization and lead design competency of MuleSoft for enterprise
integration. Specific duties include: design and develop enterprise services, REST API’s, SOAP webservices using
different Mule connectors; configure
API’s, applying policies, creating proxy endpoints in MuleSoft API manager;
design security strategies to protect access to API and SOAP endpoints by
applying various security standards such as SAML, OAUTH, and WS-Security; build
common service framework for logging, error handling, configuration,
authentication and authorization in MuleSoft; build custom dashboards, reports,
configure custom alerts, configure functional monitoring in Anypoint monitoring;
continuous integration and continuous
deployment using Maven, Jenkins and Nexus for MuleSoft apps; analyze system
requirements, prepare high level and low level design including Architecture
document and Technical design document; design integration architecture and
implement SOA based integration solutions to solve complex business problems
based on MuleSoft Anypoint platform; and debug and resolve issues in
conjunction with other technical and functional teams. Must be MuleSoft
Certified Developer.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree,
or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer
Information Systems, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of
experience in the job offered, or as a Principal Consultant - ERP, Manager –
Projects, Sr. Manager – Projects, Senior Architect, Technical Lead, or similar
position in the Application Design and Development area. Specific experience
must include each of the following: MuleSoft API Manager; MuleSoft Anypoint
Platform; designing and developing enterprise services using REST based APIs,
SOAP Web Services and using different Mule connectors; configuring APIs,
applying policies and creating proxy endpoints in MuleSoft API Manager;
designing security strategies to protect access to API and SOAP endpoints by
applying various security standards including SAML, OAUTH, and WS-Security;
building common service framework for logging, error handling, configuration,
authentication and authorization in MuleSoft; continuous integration and
continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Nexus and MuleSoft; and
architectural skills in EAI technologies. Must be MuleSoft Certified Developer.
