Job Category Sales Job Details What you’ll be doing… In this role you will partner with a Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue in some of Tableau’s most strategic accounts. While partnering with Strat AE, expectation is that this is a leading role to penetrate new Lines of Business, Subsidiaries and Accounts. You will lead, formulate, drive and execute strategic sales strategy to increase and drive revenue growth. The right candidate is seen as an influencer/expert with in-depth technical knowledge of company products, systems and services. You will pro-actively solve business problems on behalf of prospective and/or existing customers. In this role you will be presenting or co-presenting to C level executives the value proposition of Tableau platform, representing the company and team in all sales-oriented activities and prepares activity and forecast reports and evangelizing the Tableau vision through product demonstrations and solution creation to deliver maximum revenue potential. This role is expected to keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing customer base. You will be building consultative relationships at all levels in large and strategic enterprises, whilst personally creating new relationships, opportunities and partners across organizations. This individual will be an exceptional communicator within all levels of an organization. Some of the things you’ll be doing include … Work with Strategic Account Executive in development and execution of Account and Territory Plans The Account Executive (AE) maintains and expands relationships with large enterprises. And has experience managing complex sales cycle from business champion to C Level. Work closely with current customers and prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. Evangelize Tableau solutions that will help clients achieve their business goals and blaze new trails within their organizations. This AE will represent Tableau, demonstrating relentless Customer Focus while managing all aspects of the sales process and customer relationship from Account Planning, Lead Qualification, and Management through Negotiation and Closing. Maintain a good CRM cadence and adherence. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce, while creating satisfied and reference-able customers. Ability to focus on growth areas, not get stuck in account management with no revenue opportunities. Ability to speak the language of the customer vertical. Keep abreast of the IT industry, competitors, competitive issues and products. Conduct discovery and demos. Drive penetration in businesses and IT leadership within the accounts. Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts. Who you are… Experienced. You have at least 3+ years of enterprise sales experience. Amazing Salesperson. Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles in the software industry. Go-Getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful. Domain. As you will be working directly with Tableau’s most strategic accounts, prior account management experience is preferred. Experience with analytics, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred. Performer. Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions. Industry Experience. Proven experience selling into industry is preferred. You are a Recruiter!
