Technical/Functional Skills:

6+ years of experience as Tableau Administrator • Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau administration with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture • Experience as Tableau administrator, developing in, configuring, and administering Tableau Server • Very good experience in DevOps tools - Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes etc • Hands-on experience with automation of deployment process using tableau python API and shell scripting • Experience in Performance tuning / Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing) • Strong Knowledge in BI tools including ETL, Data Warehousing, other BI tools. • Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations • Experience in driving out requirements and building documentation process. • Solid RDMS experience and data modeling and advanced querying skills. • Experience working with a data warehouse and/or analytics team. • Experience working with Annuities data is preferred • Proficient in Project Management and SDLC processes. • Awareness of agile/iterative approaches. • Strong understanding of SDLC process is needed TCS Job Description • Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening, and interviewing • Excellent communication, collaboration, & interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation • Strong ability to communicate embed information, business process and system wide changes to a technical and nontechnical audience • Ability to work on own initiative within agreed boundaries • Flexible and adaptable • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to both lead and execute work • Experience with Agile project is preferred • Experience using JIRA / Confluence is needed • Hands on experience in data encryption at Rest, tableau external repository, version upgrade • Ansible for CM automation • Hands on aws cloud knowledge on compute, Storage, Data Security, SAML federation, LDAP protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage/define cloud formation template and co-ordinate with cloud infra team for cloud services provisioning. • Design and develop ansible playbooks for tableau server deployment, configuration management, Disaster recovery scenarios, and tableau server upgrade. • Design & Implement tableau security features like SAML, external identity store, Extracts encryption at Rest using KMS for master key encryption. • Design and Implement SSL/TLS encryption for user traffic and encryption in motion, LDAPS for AD communication • Monitoring using Grafana/Prometheus and OpsGenie alerting. • Tableau Administration - Performance Testing and Availability • Maintaining Security and Create/manage Users, Groups, Licenses and integrate with Active directory. • Setup Sites and Access policies • Knowledge of Tableau repository, TABCMD and TABADMIN commands • Server Installations/configuration in Unix/Linux environment is a plus • Gather requirements for Capacity planning and load balancing a multi node server installation • Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements • User Management/Change Management TCS Job Description • Monitoring and Tuning of the Tableau servers • Working with Platform support teams to constantly monitor, Tune and optimize performance (system and Application) • Create best Practice guides and work with development teams to implement them. • Training users/developers when Tableau updates are available and help them in adapting to changes when necessary. • Align/standardize team members on best practices around Tableau driven implementations • Demonstrate ability to analyze medium to large, complex or vague Business or Technical problem and translate analysis into viable solution recommendations. • Bring best practices for Tableau dashboard development • Work and partner with business & IT teams to develop reports or address data needs to provide reporting solutions • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by accessing multiple sources, specifically data residing in data warehouses. • Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau • Using SQL for managing large volume of data • Responsible for managing the admin delivery from Offshore and make sure the team delivers the work as per the requirements • Producing support documentation and keep existing documentation up-to-date • Carrying out investigation of root cause analysis

Any certification related Tableau administration, AWS Cloud is preferred but not mandatory
