JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position- Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect

Location-NJ

Job Purpose and primary objectives:- Commerce Cloud Architect

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

• Assist with designing and implementing enterprise e-commerce solutions, based on Salesforce’s Commerce Cloud platform (B2C – Demandware).  Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms like WCS is a plus.
• Design and develop responsive, high performance, e-commerce solutions that conform to high quality standards.
• Attend all workshops to understand the customer’s As – Is systems & To – Be systems.
• Create and Manage Functional & Technical design documents.
• Validate the design / build and give KT to the development & testing team at offshore.
• Deep understand of the retail integration of systems and integration patterns.
• Transition of technical & functional pieces of information to the offshore development team.
• Leverage a deep understanding of Salesforce CRM, Commerce Cloud and e-Commerce functionality and design to provide recommendations and guidance to meet project goals.

Be a team player and utilize enterprise delivery tools to maintain delivery velocity while collaborating efficiently, share knowledge and build / foster relationships.

Key Skills/Knowledge:-

• deally experienced/certified Salesforce B2C commerce cloud (formerly Demandware) & WCS
• Any other e-commerce experience beneficial
• SFRA implementation experience is a plus, but is not required
• Responsive design
• Web technologies (JS libraries, web services, UX, etc.)
• Associated capabilities, e.g. content management, SEO optimisation, tagging libraries, integrations etc.

Experience required:

• Build processes and tools as well as Source control processes and tools
• Server side: NodeJS, JSON and XML processing, consuming web services
• Client side: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript frameworks (CommonJS, JQuery, REACT/Angular etc)
• Good understanding of web security risks and mitigations (XSS, man-in-the-middle, SQL injection, etc.)

Good understanding of integrations patterns and mechanisms (authentication, authorisation, APIs, ETL, etc.)

Duration of the Assignment:-6 Months
