Apttus Functional Software Architect to join our team in Chicago, IL 

Core Skills, Experience, & Competencies:

5+ years of experience and at least two full life cycle SalesForce.com implementations, with strong expertise in at least two of the following areas/modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud with mandatory experience in Apttus Quote to Cash – CPQ/CLM implementations
Strong understanding of full Apttus implementation lifecycle
Prior experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to CPQ and CLM, and experience in the capacity of a Functional Architect in a consulting organization
Awareness of web, database, and object oriented software technologies, and salesforce.com / force.com
Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities
Business process engineering, change management, cost-benefit analysis, data modeling, and Agile methodology skills
Project Management and Business Analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of cross functional and cross vendor teams, and deliver to aggressive timelines
Functional knowledge of business process design and/or Six Sigma principles
Strong technical background, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:

Perform requirement gathering sessions, Salesforce administration, work with the internal stakeholders, project releases, define business requirements, and work across a multitude of departments
Work closely with the client to understand the need as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant, provide expert leadership and own management of multiple projects at the same time in order to provide effective solutions to the client
Lead discovery, manage training and UAT, and create wire frames and user stories
Develop estimates for projects
Support the creation of customizations and integrations required to solution delivery
Work closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers
Research Salesforce.com and Apttus CPQ capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis
