Who You Are We are seeking an experienced, people- and process-focused Salesforce expert and project leader to set strategy for SEO’s growing Salesforce instance. You are experienced in business analysis and process improvement and are adept at balancing and prioritizing the needs of multiple stakeholders to best serve overall organizational strategy. You have previously worked on large Salesforce instances serving multiple departments, have customized Salesforce to handle business operations beyond basic CRM. You are skilled at solving the logistical, security, and operational issues attendant on shared objects that serve many different groups. You are experienced in change management and driving adoption, listening well to stakeholder needs, and designing/customizing Salesforce and related apps to best meet those needs. You are comfortable designing strategy, running change management processes, and leading “task forces” of stakeholders from disparate teams. What You’ll Do Set overall Salesforce organizational strategy, based on organizational objectives and input and feedback from stakeholder teams Ensure strategic goals are met and Salesforce initiatives are executed efficiently Execute on day-to-day maintenance, configuration, and support as needed Maintain open channel to stakeholder teams to fully understand their operational needs and properly prioritize and implement them Design efficient processes and ensure they are well-documented and users are well trained; design reports/processes to ensure data integrity and proper data entry Ensure that each stakeholder team has a representative with the right tools and training to handle team-specific changes (reporting, field changes, etc) Design and execute a training program for new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization Drive increased adoption of Salesforce and eliminate need for manual processing outside of Salesforce (e.g. Excel-based metrics calculations) “Own” all Salesforce-related contracts and initiatives, acting as the primary liaison to external vendors and setting timelines and priorities Design, implement, and manage a change control process for Salesforce to efficiently and methodically accommodate teams’ desired updates and adjustments Proactively evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functional requirements and provide analysis on how changes may impact users; roll upgrade planning into the change management process Perform security checks and auditing on Salesforce platform as required Supervise up to one Salesforce Administrator Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management or equivalent experience in field Minimum 7-10 years’ experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst/Administrator com Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or (ADM 301) preferred Experience with Salesforce Data Loader and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent understanding of project management principles Experience working with Agile, lean, or similar development methodologies Experience with Salesforce App Exchange apps like Conga, AdobeSign, Five9, Live Message, Advologix, Lightning a Plus Ability to communicate business needs to technical team and technical needs to program team; ability to cultivate effective, clear communication in your direct reports Excellent project management, people management, change management, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills Equal Employment Opportunity is not just the law, it is our commitment.
