Job Title: AZURE Solutions Architect

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Remote)

Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications:

• Have 3 or more years of experience in Azure Cloud.

• Have 3 or more years in Security.

• Be a certified Azure Security Engineer Associate (Minimum), preferred Expert.

• Proficient at Azure Policy (How to create, apply, and the lifecycle of Azure Policy)

• Proficient at interacting with Azure using PowerShell

• Proficient at dealing with ARM and Bicep templates and how to modify them to comply with Azure Policies.

• Ability to prioritize workload with minimum supervision while maintaining forward momentum

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Security Architecture, Cloud Platform, Directors of Business Information Security, and Business Unit IT teams to resolve outstanding Azure policy violations to get all deployments into compliance.

• Work with the Cloud Platform team to update and create any new policies needed to increase the security of the Azure Platform.

• Write Audit and PowerShell automations to gather, report, and monitor compliance for the various teams leveraging the existing Azure Policy tooling.

• Have well written and spoken communication capabilities to ensure that the status is communicated to the platform and architecture teams, while ensuring that the BU-IT teams understand why the policies are what they are and what advantages they get by complying.

• Determining when to move from audit only to deny ensuring a non-disruptive transition.

• Document any Technical Standards or Paved Road documents needed to help BU-IT teams to deploy in compliance with the Azure policies in the future.
