The CRM Business Analyst is responsible for the day to day operations of the Customer Relationship Management platform and a key member of a small Salesforce.com team. As a Business Analyst for SomaLogic’s CRM platform, this position will work alongside of the CRM application lead to support business and technology stakeholders to ensure the platform is configured as an effective and efficient sales and customer support tool. This is a hands-on role that will be actively involved in configuring the system, implementing enhancements, and managing user access to the application.
Level will be commensurate with experience.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Work with the business owner(s) in Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc. to identify and prioritize requirements and enhancement requests
- Participate in managing the backlog of CRM requests and deliver appropriate solutions
- Work as a part of the CRM team to assist in the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues related to the CRM
- Contribute in the design and development of solutions on Salesforce platform
- Handle user administration (access and authorization requests) for the Salesforce application
- Monitor and ensure overall health and effectiveness of the CRM platform
- Maintain expert level knowledge of the CRM system and the platform’s capabilities for future enhancements
- Utilize software development best practices and promote culture of continuous improvement
- Work with Regulatory and IT Security groups to ensure compliance and security requirements are implemented and followed
- Effectively communicate status to stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Preferred majors include Computer Science or other technology-related majors
- SFDC certifications are preferred
- 3+ years of experience working within the SalesForce.com application in administrative or development roles in mid- to large-sized companies
- Strong experience with Sales Cloud and Force.com
- Nice to have Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Partner Communities
- Demonstrated mastery of Salesforce platform and CRM concepts
- Strong knowledge of CRM-related business capabilities and processes, including Salesforce Automation (SFA) and Customer Service
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships and gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders at multiple levels (managers, individual contributors, department heads, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with Release Management and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) release processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to create positive and high-performance work cultures
- Prefer experience in a regulated environment, such as biotechnology, healthcare, or aerospace
- Experience with compliance frameworks including HIPAA and PCI preferred
- Work is in typical office environment and involves extended time at a computer and frequent informal meetings and discussions with developers, users, and customers
