Our client is one of the world’s leading financial investment banks and is currently seeking a Mid-Level Tableau Consultant to help build intuitive data visualization reports for a newly deployed Risk Technology Platform to measure its performance and optimization.

The role

As the Tableau Consultant, you will engage with the data platform development team to ensure reporting datamarts are aligned for accurate dashboard reporting and perform root-cause analysis for data irregularities that present for further development.

Requirements

The ideal person will have experience creating complex formulas and calculations within Tableau and have come from a hands-on Java development background, including strong SQL programming skills. 

Technical skills

• 6+ years' experience with Tableau including developing Tableau Dashboards for Visualization Solutions
• Strong Java programming skills including fundamental knowledge of Threading, Collections, Synchronization, Locking, Spring, and batch
• In-Depth data analysis, data model, and reporting experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Education

• BS/MS in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar technical field.
