We are looking for Business Objects Developer with Strong Tableau
Experiencebuilding high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical
applications.

Required_Qualifications

These are basic qualifications that the candidate must have in order to be
considered for the posted position. This includes but is not limited to:

• Degree-specific requirements High School, Bachelors, Masters, or

Doctorate Degree, etc.

• Total of 8+ years of experience is required
• Candidates should be open to work out of Plano, TX
• Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position whom are

legally authorized to work in the United States without company
sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).

• Associate should have good experience in Business Objects with hands on

experience in BO

Good knowledge in Database queries and SQL

Should have good communication skills along with good attitude

Should be able to work independently and drive the things

Should have good debugging skills and should be quick learner

Having good understanding of Tableau architecture design development and
end user experience

Extensive experience in Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Reader
in various versions of Tableau 8x9x10x.

Involved in reviewing business requirements and analyzing data sources
form Excel Oracle Teradata SQL Server SAP BW for design development
testing and production rollover of reporting and analysis projects within
Tableau Desktop

Worked closely with business power users to create reports dashboards
using Tableau desktop and Business Objects XI31

Designed and developed various analytical reports from multiple data
sources by blending data on a single worksheet in Tableau Desktop

Create Prompts Calculated Fields customize Calculations Conditions and
Filter Local Global for various analytical reports and dashboards

Create and modify Interactive Dashboards and Creating guided navigation
links within Interactive Dashboards

Effectively used data blending filters actions Hierarchies feature in
Tableau

Very strong SQL skills in at least one DB technology ie Teradata or any
other database like Oracle UDB Teradata skills are preferred

Understanding of the full application life-cycle from inception through
maintenance

Solves new and/or familiar problems independently and without introducing
regressions

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
