About The Role

The Business Systems Manager - Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the Business Applications team dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs.

We are seeking someone with excellent relationship, organizational, and technical skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs in order to translate, administer and enhance the system accordingly.

Responsibilities

Manage and Implement Changes to the System
  • Work with Business Operations Leadership and Internal Stakeholders to identify needed system changes.
  • Gather requirements from end users.
  • Manage system changes without interruption to the user.
  • Work with Business Operations to Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change.
  • Demonstration of a disciplined change control process
  • Work in internally with Salesforce peer group to manage all processes that impact / relate to Salesforce.com.
  • Manage new releases of SFDC and efficiently roll out new features.
  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other salesforce.com related administration.
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
  • Provide support functions as needed.
  • Proactively gather feedback from users.
  • Provide sales related data to company executives as needed.


Maintain System Security and Integrity
  • Map salesforce.com hierarchy and territories in response to personnel changes.
  • Reassign Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities in response to personnel changes.
  • Grant/ remove and maintain user licenses.
  • Design and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
  • Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed.
  • Manage/Administrator external but highly integrated applications (Outreach, Gainsight)


Essential Requirements

This role needs a solid understanding of the organization’s business while also having a solid understanding of the Business Tool eco-system. Salesforce is an integral part of our business tool infrastructure and a working knowledge of connects business tools is a plus (Gainsight, Marketo, Outreach for example). We are look for a Salesforce Administrator who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and put other hats on and be proactive, organized and logical team player.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce administration experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC.
  • Advanced Salesforce Certification
  • Salesforce CPQ Certification
  • SFDC Developer Certifications a plus.
  • Detail oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge and experience of the SDLC and its related methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of the Lead to Book Sales lifecycle within a SAAS Organization.
  • Minimum expectation of a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Team player with positive “Can-do” attitude.
  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong problem solving skills
