Job Title: Salesforce Product Manager Job Description: The Enterprise Applications team within BXTI is looking to hire a Salesforce Product Manager. This individual will work closely with business technology groups and users to define the next generation of relationship management at Blackstone. This is a hybrid role that combines typical product management responsibilities with design oversight to ensure that features are designed with consistency across our Salesforce platform. From time to time, the CRM Product Manager may be required to design, configure, and roll out features independently if the need arises. Responsibilities: Define and articulate product goals, roadmap, and strategy in collaboration with technology leadership and key business stakeholders Explore new opportunities or use cases for Salesforce across the firm Serve as a design resource/manager for Salesforce projects, including new features, enhancements, or other initiatives On occasion, lead new designs for features or enhancements, including conducting user research, building process flows/user personas, creating wireframes/prototypes, and configuring screens Collaborate closely with engineers throughout the development, rollout, and iteration of features Ensure that projects move smoothly, are high quality, and are delivered on time, making appropriate trade-offs when necessary Qualifications: Experienced with Salesforce – You have 3+ years of Salesforce configuration experience, preferably in Sales Cloud, and are comfortable with Salesforce Lightning, custom objects, workflow rules, sharing rules, etc. You have also shipped out custom features using configuration, development, or a mixture of both You are comfortable with the end-to-end Salesforce development lifecycle, including: sandbox creation and maintenance, developing in sandboxes, test coverage, change sets, maintaining a staging environment, and deployments to Production You have experience with the Salesforce admin/developer ecosystem, and an interest in keeping abreast of Salesforce releases to learn about any changes/new features introduced by Salesforce User Focused – you dig deep to understand user needs. You have experience conducting thorough research to understand user motivations and workflow and can clearly communicate them using appropriate methods (ex: user flows, personas, etc.) Data Driven – you use data to help drive decisions in areas like designs and prioritization Decisive – you can lead and manage projects with minimal oversight and make independent decisions, but know when to reach out when guidance or additional feedback is needed Detail Oriented – you have experience recording detailed requirements or design documents and are comfortable documenting end-to-end functional, technical, reporting, and data needs Strong Interpersonal and Collaborative Skills – you have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
