Job Title: Carrier Acceptance Device Test Engineer
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 12+ months contract
Job Description:
Carrier Acceptance device test engineer: Carrier acceptance test (CAT) is an important phase in the device workflow between conformance and manufacturing. CAT aims to ensure that devices meet user expectations in terms of functionality and performance. 5G devices need to meet the key performance indicators (KPI) of specific mobile networks to achieve that goal.
Required Skills:
Simulators experience required using tools such as keysight, Anite, Anirustu, CMW500, R&S
Carrier Acceptance Testing /IoT testing
Hands-on experience on debugging and log analysis using QXDM, QCAT
Knowledge on operator supported RATs (eg: ATT-4G, 3g and Verizon - SRLTE/LTE, Hybrid, 1x)
Basic understanding on RATs:5G, 4G,3G,1x, Hybrid, SRLTE
Experience in scripting and automation using python
