 In this role, you will be working closely with customers, to help them understand, define, and produce data warehouse and analytics requirements. As a Senior Data Management Solution Architect, it will be your responsibility to review, evaluate, and determine project scope to be within or outside the Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence / Data Integration environment. Additionally, you will help transform business requirements into technical specifications and partner with the development of Data Management solutions.

The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with Executives, IT Managers, Product Managers, Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to analyze, organize, prepare, and conduct complex business intelligence applications.

You will provide technical and solution leadership in delivering architectural artifacts that promote integration, re-usability, data governance, modularity, and scalability across the data integration ecosystem. The ecosystem includes but is not limited to the access and security layer, methods and frequency for data integration, data lake, integration of identity management, preference management, customer relationship management, master data management and digital applications. They possess business, technical and data warehouse integration expertise. Their work will support business decisions, and could span across multiple areas such as consumer experience, clinical quality, hospital operations, supply chain, finance, regulatory, vendor contract fulfillment, etc.

Here’s how you will impact the company:

  • Acts as a visionary, strategist and advisor for the data integration architecture and solutions. Surveys market landscape for data integration solution insights, best practices, vendors and methods to stay ahead to meet the functional business requirements for a solution.
  •  Complies with THR information security and privacy policies, ITSM processes and Data Integration development and design standards and best practices. 
  • Spearheads the data integration strategy and architecture in support of business needs. Works with business sponsors, architects, SME’s and vendors to understand the business goals for data integration and architect solutions that promote integration, consistency, re-usability, data governance, modularity and scalability across the data integration ecosystem. 
  • Actively participates in the ITS architecture and governance processes to ensure the data integration and ITS architectures are aligned. Participates in Data Governance teams to ensure alignment with system goals and data management.
  • Defines, documents, maintains and communicates the data integration reference architecture model and standards in support of the strategic plan. The architecture ecosystem includes but is not limited to the access and security layer, methods and frequency for data integration, EDW, big data, data lake, integration of identity management, preference management, consumer relationship management, master data management, and digital applications.
  • Documents all necessary architecture design and analysis work, communicates to key stakeholders and monitors implementation of approved solutions.
  • Promotes data governance requirements and documentation.
  • Cultivates relationships among architects, partners and customers and analysts who have similar information needs and manages those relationships to assure effective solutions. Mentor and train key stakeholders, architects, and team members on data integration architecture.
  • Performs data analysis of complex business operations, develop an implementation strategy, define business requirements and specifications for the creation of Data Warehouse applications, creating architectural solutions in real time;
  • Take ownership of data integration project towards a digital experience. 



 We Can Get You an Interview For This Position If You Have:

  • Over 10+ years of Information Technology experience;
  • 7+ years as an experienced as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect defining Data Integration and Data Management projects;
  • 2+ years performing the role as a Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect with a focus on business intelligence and data integration;
  • Skilled in data governance, data manipulation and extraction experience using database suite of tools;
  • Highly skilled at architecting and developing data integration, business intelligence and EDW technologies.
  • Expertise with defining overall architecture for access and security, different methods and frequency for data integration, data lake, big data, integration of identity management, preference management, customer relationship management and digital applications.
  • Experience with interviewing and gathering business requirements, definition and design of data source and data flows, data quality analysis, and working with the data architect on the development of logical data models.
  • Experience with the SDLC, ITSM and privacy and security processes and policies.
  • Experience with Master Data Management.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as API, ETL, relational databases, SQL, big data, Visio, ERwin, PowerPoint, Data Governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multi-disciplined teams to understand and validate business requirements and design data integration solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors, business users, and executives, the ability to communicate technical solutions in business terms, and has the ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Able to take on multiple projects concurrently and manage changes in scope along the way.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multi-disciplined project teams to consistent rapid delivery while driving an aggressive schedule, identifying all impacts and proposing resolutions.
  • Able to think strategically, with a solid grasp of business issues and objectives, the implications of different solutions to arrive at the optimal solution given the current environment’s constraints;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects;
  • Self-motivated, directed and passionate.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university. Post graduate degree preferred.
