3.7| ||Full-time|13 hours ago| Full Job Description Job Summary: This position is responsible for the reporting of data from WFI capacity plans. This position may be involved in day to day work as it relates to creating and executing queries against business systems and developing reports and dashboards using said data. Under general direction, focuses on the use of information and analytics to improve health and optimize consumer and provider focused business planning. Core Responsibilities: Responsible for the extraction and analysis of Government Business Segment team data. Partners with capacity planners to evaluate and design reports that support business operations for team Partner with customers in an effort to control medical cost and improve the quality of services provided to members and providers Responsible for research using multiple sources of data and analyzing algorithms. Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills and problem solving Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills Must be self-motivated and able to work within a team environment Able to work with business partners for requirement gathering Able to develop/modify report queries and/or processes to support business requirements Able to manage multiple priorities with varying deadlines Must be able to create high level dashboards that tell a story for the business Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration preferred or equivalent amount of experience Minimum of 3 years of reporting, or programming experience – with Teradata and Tableau expertise required Experience with Microsoft SSMS, Toad DataPoint and/or Visual Studio a plus Experience with Alteryx based models a plus Healthcare background a plus Must be able to learn Alteryx and become core certified within 3 months of hire About Cigna Cigna Corporation (NYSE: CI) is a global health service company dedicated to improving the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve.
