About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for turning our data into insight of value to our colleagues and our clients. Typically, this will involve building data sources from our databases, either connecting directly or subsequent to some transformation within Alteryx. That data is then presented onward via interactive dashboards or static visuals that form parts of presentations or papers that we publish to the industry. Or, sometimes, just providing that dataset on to a stakeholder.
This role is critical to our ability to turn data into insight of value that our clients can use to their competitive advantage. The work carried out will help to retain existing clients and attract new ones.
It will be very busy, finding insights within our data, building content our clients use daily, and improving the existing suite of dashboards and tools we provide to our clients. You will be working alongside the Head of Data Visualisation, building relationships internally with our relationship managers, database developers, and database analysts.
About Retail Finance Benchmarking
Retail Finance Benchmarking is a unit within CACI which provides insight services to the banking industry – our clients are the UK’s leading banks and building societies. A full list of our clients is available on our website.
We use their data relating to savings, mortgages, unsecured personal loans and current accounts, enrich it and aggregate it, before playing it back to them via an insights platform that gives them access to data sets and reporting tools. Those tools allow them to assess the market and inform their decisions around pricing, acquisition and retention.
The team of 12 comprises relationship managers, analysts, and technical specialists.
About CACI
Our heritage of understanding consumers and their behaviour underpins everything we do and forms the basis of our unique range of solutions. We help our clients to grow their customer volumes and revenue by delivering a connected customer experience.
The amazing things we do with data enable us to create unrivalled insight – insight that can lead business change, increase customer engagement and drive digital transformation. We use it to shape digital products, maximise digital acquisition and integrate marketing technology.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with proven analytical skills and expertise in communicating insights to an audience through a variety of means. You should be able to communicate written insights clearly, and solicit requirements with skill, allowing no room for ambiguity.
Candidates with the following skills and experience will be at an advantage, and the more the better. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to develop skills in areas where they are less experienced.
