Role               : Digital Marketing Technical Program Manager / Sr. Project Manager

Location        : Work from Home (Remote)

Duration        : Long Term Contract



Position Summary 

This Sr. PM role will be hands-on (continuously) and strategic (at times). This role has numerous initiatives management responsibilities that also includes Change and UAT Management responsibilities. 

 

  

What you’ll do 

  • Business Unit Marketing Technology Project, Program, Change, and UAT Management 
  • Work with multi-tiered-level business owners/stakeholders (mostly within Marketing and Sales) to rapidly assess and understand business needs, define options, and translate requirements into program objectives, scope, and very-high level business requirements 
  • You will own and drive the Project Lifecycle using Waterfall, Agile, or Blended methodologies 
  • Drive the successful execution of initiatives to ensure milestones and objectives are met and ensuring quality of execution 
  • Develop and manage a detailed project or program plan that considers all requirements, constraints, resources, and deliverables associated with the defined objectives. Also develop and manage project or program dashboard 
  • Provide structure and necessary processes without compromising execution or the needs of the customer, product or team 
  • Work internally within a highly matrixed organization, as well as outside your organization with various cross-functional teams to execute and implement the plan 
  • Aggregate, organize, and communicate program and project information with internal customers, stakeholders and extended teams 
  • Act as a liaison across geographies and with technical and non-technical audiences to communicate and ensure alignment to objectives / Surface key issues and changes which may impact expected business results 
  • Effectively manage risk, partnering with colleagues to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements 
  • Leverage change management best practices to ensure the successful adoption of strategic initiatives 
  • Develop the change management plan, communications and onboarding plan for new and existing resources, projects and workstreams 
  • Conduct a change impact assessment, identifying impacted teams/individuals and the type and level of impact to current process 
  • Support the creation of the Communications strategy and plan 
  • Support the creation of the training strategy and plan 
  • Document and finalize process changes (for example, checklist, Visio process flow diagram, Lucid Charts, etc.) 
  • Onboard new Program resources and workstreams; Train project team members on program standards and expectations (as needed) 
  • Review the status and health of the project or program with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. Example program attributes to be reviewed and managed include deadlines, dependencies, changes, and new requests, milestones 
  • Creation of Program Roadmap, Program Health Dashboard, Consolidated program level status reports 
  • Determine compliance requirements of the program, such as documentation and testing, and ensure the program achieves them 
  • Support the facilitation of ongoing project prioritization reviews to incorporate new requests and changes into the program roadmap, and communicate results to impacted stakeholders 
  • Develop and assist with creating program health status for the Executive Steering 
  • Continuously maintain program decisions and risks log for escalations and tracking to resolution 
  • Project/Program Closure: Conduct process review workshops to refine and improve program practices 
  • Energetic, well organized, agile and collaborative, and a self-starter 


What you need to succeed 

  • 10+ years of related/proven enterprise-wide/global project and program management experience 
  • BS/BA or equivalent, MBA desired 
  • Proven experience in enablement, business change, and UAT management 
  • You have strong people skills, with distinctive ability to motivate and influence people without authority or a direct reporting relationship 
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technology and related product development, systems implementation and integrations 
  • Solid understanding of Marketing Automation Software such as Marketo, Digital marketing platforms such as CMS(Drupal or WordPress), CRM (Salesforce), email platforms, site tagging tools (Google Tag Manager), etc. 
  • Proficiency in Project Management Software like Planview, Clarity, Microsoft Project Smartsheets, OmniPlan, Workfront, Microsoft office products required 
  • Additional Tools Requirements: Wiki page creation, SharePoint dashboarding, Power BI, Tableau, Visio, Lucid Charts 
  • PMI (PMP) or equivalent professional certificate preferred 
  • Scrum Alliance (CSM) or equivalent professional certificate preferred 
  • A strong level of technical acumen, specifically working knowledge of web technologies and software development lifecycles (SDLCs). 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences; as well as, communicate effectively with multi-tiered resources within a heavily matrixed organization 
  • Extreme attention to details, balanced with the ability to absorb large amounts of information and distill it down to the essentials 
  • You are a leader who is always focused on doing what’s right for the business, and you know how to lead people and teams through change 
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management and resolution skills. You diplomatically facilitate teams to the successful resolution of issues.  
  • You are a self-starter that thrives in the face of challenge. You are relentless in clearing obstacles with a resourceful and creative approach to problem-solving. 
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and leveraging tools of the trade, such as productivity tools and new project management applications 
  • Knowledge of Client’s products and their use across customer segments is desired 
  • Project, Program, or Change management for large scale initiatives or within a PMO 
  • Business and technology integration experience 
  • Project and change management, project and program roadmaps, project planning, and workstream status roll up plan reporting 
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent activities across cross-functional workstreams and work within the constructs of a broader multi-phased program 
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with general guidance on new projects 
  • Demonstrated experience presenting and advocating programs to customers and/or internal key stakeholders. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively, and act in a lead role as a subject matter expert, within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria. 
  • You are high energy, maintain a positive attitude, have contagious enthusiasm and a sense of humor that helps you to adapt to the changing needs of the business 
  • Experience managing lean (3+) team desired 
  • Feasibility study or Business case development nice to have 
  • Ability to Instill trust: Gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
