Minimum qualifications:

  • MBA or Graduate degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience managing software delivery
  • 5 years of experience delivering Salesforce-based solutions, with proven ability to provide functional and technical expertise, apply best practices, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and leverage core capabilities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Cross-disciplinary technical experience in business architecture, systems design, systems integration, data architecture, and solutions delivery.
  • Deep expertise on Salesforce platform and 3P ecosystem and a record of success delivering Salesforce-based solutions for large, complex stakeholder groups.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and demonstrated ability to effectively influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems, and scale effectively across a large organization and distributed team.
  • Business-minded, data-driven, and technically skilled in the architecture of Salesforce-based solutions
  • Excellent customer empathy, attention to detail, and communication skills.

The Director of Partnerships Systems, Salesforce leads the team that provides business systems for the YouTube Partnerships team. Your work enables our partnerships teams to provide strategic, outcomes-focused insights for our top YouTube creators via a Salesforce-powered CRM. Your work keeps the YouTube business organization nimble, able to understand partner needs and evolve accordingly. You understand the business, identify the technical opportunities, set the systems strategy, and deliver Salesforce-based business systems to help the Partnerships team succeed and scale.

You are a Salesforce expert, having extensive experience designing and delivering complex, integrated Salesforce-based solutions that meet business needs. You lead technical design and implementation teams to create and execute on product roadmaps, delivering technology that drives user value and builds user trust. You can move between big picture and small details, being able to elicit stakeholder needs, set a strategy, and leverage resources to deliver the end product. You are a trusted technical leader who inspires teams to innovate regularly and deliver reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Be a technical expert on the Salesforce platform with extensive, proven experience architecting and delivering Salesforce-based implementations to drive business success.
  • Incorporate the business goals of stakeholders into technical roadmaps, ultimately evolving the broader systems strategy to lead ahead of changing business goals.
  • Lead a technical team to deliver reliable, trusted systems that create concrete business value in a Salesforce-centric ecosystem.
  • Drive development and architectural best practices across the team, driving a culture of ownership and accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Lead from the front, introducing the team to new possibilities in a Salesforce-centric ecosystem and inspiring them to deliver fresh, creative solutions.
