What you'll be doing...
The Ecommerce Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, delivery to market, and scaling of integrated programs and initiatives related to Tableau's ecommerce initiatives. The Ecommerce Program Manager has exemplary communication skills, experience working cross-departmentally, and has the ability to influence others to execute on a clear and unified strategy to deliver ecommerce capabilities to Tableau's customers in an effective and efficient way.

In the near term, your primary focus will be...
  • Supporting ecommerce by aligning priorities to outcomes meeting those goals.
  • Building and creating recurring meetings, touch points, and communications to create clarity within ecommerce.
  • Addresses cross-departmental needs, aligning with critical business units.
  • With ecommerce being one of the company’s top priorities, ensure proper visibility and awareness of the program throughout the business.
Some of the things you will be doing include….
  • Develop, manage, and lead initiatives, projects, and programs to deliver integrated solutions for of Tableau eCommerce (which include the online store, checkout, renewal/auto-renewal, customer portal, and Tableau Online).
  • Develop and implement processes, policies, and tools that facilitate friction-free commerce between Tableau, our customers, and our partners.
  • Lead broad initiatives composed of multiple product and program improvements in support of and alignment with Tableau's strategic goals, ensuring successful delivery to market and achievement of committed targets and KPIs.
  • Identify, champion, and implement ecommerce improvements and enhancements that accelerate business growth and improve the customer experience.
  • Partner with ecommerce dependent or contributing business units to define priority and program details.
  • Define, track, measure, and report key metrics to inform program success/failure.
  • Assist with resource management for the programs you manage and escalate conflicts.
  • Develop program management methodologies for ecommerce.
  • Be a subject matter expert on Tableau Ecommerce and champion the program internally and externally.
Who you are…

Experienced. 8+ years of experience with services business model, products, and positioning (including existing experience with Consulting and Training Services) preferably in the software space. 8+ years of relevant product experience, supporting analytics, data, or business intelligence software.
Capable. You have strong knowledge and have successfully used a diverse set of project management methodologies, approaches and tool sets (e.g., Smartsheet, Office/Google docs, Lucid Chart/Visio, SharePoint).
Problem Solver. You love tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to get to the best solution. The current way isn't necessarily the best way. You're willing to go the road less traveled.
Strong communicator. Very strong oral and written communication skills, adept at creating clarity out of chaos, confidence and proficient in presenting to stakeholder audiences across all levels.
Educated. You have a bachelor's or an Advanced Degree
