THE ROLE Power Factors is seeking candidates for a key role of Engineer, Technical Solutions FSM (Salesforce) to join the Customer Success Department to complete our team. Our Customer Success team is responsible for developing and sustaining customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty through continuous engagement with our Customers at many levels. The Engineer, Technical Solutions FSM serves to bridge any gaps between our customers’ business processes and systems and Power Factors’ platform and services through the development of specific technical solutions and designs. The Engineer, Technical Solutions FSM makes a critical first impression for Power Factors by establishing technical trust and serves as a key resource to the Customer Success Management teams as we guide our customers through a discovery process to better understand their needs, constraints, and underlying business drivers. He or she ultimately owns the design, specification, and implementation of these various customer-facing technical solutions, which can include new and unique API integrations, enterprise application and B2B integrations, specialized reports, tools, processes, and much more. The Engineer, Technical Solutions FSM must be able to articulate the specific technical, business, and commercial aspects of such technical solutions. This person will also coordinate with the Product, Development, Engineering, and Sales organizations to ensure the implementation of the solutions incorporate best practices, and align with our roadmap and technologies. The candidate should have a strong background in software systems integration, including Salesforce, ERP, IPaas, and related topics and disciplines. In this position, you will be working from home in the United States and you will report to the Manager, Technical Solutions Drive Plus (FSM) of the Customer Success Department. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the evaluation of business and technical requirements; Develop architectural solutions and their associated detailed designs; Draft system block diagrams, entity relationships, and other detailed design elements to support the execution/implementation of technical solutions; Facilitante the collaboration and communication between internal and external stakeholders, including the customer’s technical and business representatives, and Power Factor’s Product, Development, Engineering Operations, and Sales teams; Manage strategic projects as required by the evolving needs of our internal and external customers; Support project implementation activities and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders; Develop, update, and maintain the tools, standards, specifications, and other related resources and requirements. Act as a technical subject matter expert for all technical matters that aims at supporting internal and external stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent, and significant work experience; Minimum of 5 years of significant industry experience working with Salesforces Platform; Understanding of enterprise application integration concepts; Hands-on technical solution implementation experience, including with one or more common enterprise software solutions (e.g. CRM, ERP); Existing Salesforce Platform development experience (Lightning Platform, aka Force.com) is considered an important asset; Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
