Overview

East West Bank is looking for a Principle Enterprise Architect to contribute towards the success of our digital banking initiative. This role will drive solution design with technology vendor collaboration, work closely with business units, vendors, and development teams to design enterprise solutions. This position manage new technology vendor relationship, and contributes to business intelligence solution architecture, design, development, and implementation, across the enterprise landscape.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate highly-available, distributed infrastructure services with cloud architecture best practices
• Leverage strong conceptual and technical knowledge of reusable software components, and design best practices
• Create cost-effective autoscaling solutions
• Work on a fully open source project on GitHub
• Build, maintain and operate CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure
• Have depth of experience in AWS services stacks
• Eager to work with larger product teams to build on new requirements and focus on customer pain points
• Interact with vendors, evaluate 3rd party products and provide results, including, but not limited to: quality, performance, and integration methodology
• Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability
• Create best practices and example code; do proof of concepts and publish EA positioning guidelines
• Strong experience with engineering tools, such as Jenkins, JIRA, Github
• Define high quality deliverables, milestones and KPIs to be implemented across teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with solution design for client-side frontend GUI layers, web services, APIs, data platform, and infrastructure
• 5+ years’ hands on experience in cloud based technology and open source development platforms
