Job Description:
Our clients are making investments in smart grid technology and advanced asset management capabilities across their infrastructure. Key to this effort is developing business intelligence tools to enable project management and reporting, and the Tableau Developer will lead the development of visualization and management tools. This is a part time position, and requirements include:
Dashboard development for complex infrastructure projects
Alignment of analytics-based projects
Creation of tracking tools for Strategic Operations group
Model development and model management
Stakeholder engagement; liaise with Finance, project managers, project owners, and other stakeholders as required
Support to internal data science team
Provide visualization support and development
Provide ad hoc support as needed
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional Tableau development
Minimum 3 years’ experience in UI/UX development
Experience gathering stakeholder requirements, and interfacing with a diverse range of stakeholders including backend developers, data scientists, executive leadership, mechanical and electrical engineers, and frontline workers
Ability to multitask and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of utility operations, asset management, electric generation, and transmission preferred, but not required
