The IDT-Salesforce Tech Developer role will join a team contributing to the technical development of RAI’s Salesforce.com technology stack. Exceptional communication and influencing skills are essential attributes necessary for this role to facilitate, communicate, and deliver business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring our Salesforce applications (Force.com, Communities, B2B Commerce) are developed and deployed effectively.

• Working with the team on new projects, from initial interaction with clients during the requirements discovery phase through implementation and deployment of the completed project
• Leading the technical direction during design and development processes by driving decisions and coordinating efforts with our vendor managed service providers
• Focuses on continuous integration and/or continuous delivery strategies providing optimal feedback loops for the team

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Certified Salesforce Developer (Certified Salesforce Advanced Developer desired)
• Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Practical knowledge of agile project management

Experience:

• 5+ years development experience on the Salesforce platform
• Salesforce Communities and/or B2B Commerce experience preferred
• Experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations with over 500 users
• Experience implementing Salesforce apps on a mobile platform
• Experience developing applications on Force.com using APEX, Visualforce, lightning, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, SQL, XML; Working experience in any of JavaScript frameworks is preferable
• Knowledge of integrations with an enterprise ERP as well as making use of third-party web services with RESTful service architecture
• Experience managing multiple development/project teams’ code deployment utilizing a CI/CD pipeline, automated testing platforms, etc.
• Experience working with Agile principles
• Experience with cloud native technologies
