Experis IT are currently recruiting for a Integrations Engineer to join one of our key clients based in Solihull. They are a FTSE 250 company who provider public services on a global scale with 50,000 employees worldwide.

​

The Integration Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, which includes scoping, technical design, build, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support for Integration Services provided to our customers. The Integration Engineer will also liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the customer.

The Integration Engineer will be a dynamic individual who can apply their Integration knowledge and technical expertise to the delivery of Integration services in a fast-paced environment, where the rate of change and requirement for new solutions is expected to be high. As a practised application professional, they will adopt and support a team-based approach, proactively sharing ideas and expertise and supporting others within the team. They will take pride in their work and have a keen eye for attention to detail.

The Integration Engineer will also be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the DevOps team's capability, enhancing the service provided to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers throughout the entire software lifecycle of projects (define, design, develop, test, implement, maintain)

• Provide direct technical support to users for Integration systems, making use of ITSM toolsets and liaising with other service management and technical teams within an ITIL framework

• Perform routine monitoring and maintenance tasks against Integration solutions

• Evaluate user requests for Integration solutions to determine feasibility and technical requirements

• Design, specify, build, test and implement new or changed Integration solutions

• Adhere to and deliver against agreed ITS SIAM processes for incident, problem and change management

• Create and update documentation as necessary across the whole software lifecycle maintaining high standards of detail, accuracy, presentation and quality of content. Adhere to agreed templates and corporate branding standards

Technical Skill

​

The Integration Engineer should possess a good understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns, demonstrable experience of REST API, JSON and XML data types. Experience in the development of integration using IDOCS, RFC and BAPI experience on the HCM platform. Technical Knowledge of DellBoomi is an advantage but not essential.
