Job Title: IT Analyst with Content Management

Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)

Duration: Full Time / Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for an IT Analyst, with 5+ years of experience in enterprise content management systems, document ingestion and knowledge management to design and implement functional solution for the given Business requirements.

IT Analyst responsibilities include prioritizing user requirements, overseeing system upgrades and researching new tools. In this role, you should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs.

This role requires diving deep into the complex world of Digital Content Management. You will work with Digital Content Specialists to understand the digital publishing process and work to develop creative solutions alongside Product and technology teams through the project phases to promote quality, scalability, and process improvement.

You will be responsible to work with Content team to manage the day to day workflow of content production. Make recommendations on how to increase the effectiveness of content management tools.

Other essential duties:

1. Communicate with stakeholders to understand the requirements.

2. Develop and analyse functional specifications.

3. Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs.

4. Prepare detailed user stories based on the analysis. Explain the user stories to the team when those are picked up for implementation.

5. Coordinate with development team to implement technology solutions.

6. Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.

7. Conduct BAT and UAT. Gather and implement the feedback obtained from end users.

8. Follow the change management processes to communicate the changes to stakeholders.

9. Prepare user manuals/user guides.

Required Skills/Experience:

1. Proven experience as an IT Analyst, IT Consultant or similar role

2. Hands on experience in Content Management tool such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as well as Rally, Agile implementation

3. Knowledge of databases

4. Understanding of business practices

5. Excellent communication skills

6. Analytical mindset

7. Problem-solving aptitude
