Job Description

About This Role

We need someone to provide expert advice and lead in system and application administration, installation, configuration/provisioning, platform planning and design, integration and release and deployment management. This is a challenging role that will further hone your knowledge and skills in this area of expertise.

Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager. Here are the essential job functions of this position:

• Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with TD Wealth users
• Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
• Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
• Responsible for promoting code updates from lower environments into production.
• Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
• Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
• Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams
• Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
• Negotiate solutions to complex business scenarios with multiple stakeholders and business use cases/agendas.
• Configuration of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Sales Cloud
• Execute on and report on the technical scope and client expectations.
• Coordinate solution testing and end user sign off.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
• Graduate Degree preferred.
  
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
• Previous experience with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud, Community Cloud and Sales Cloud.
• Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
• Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
• Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Strong data management abilities
• A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
• Experience writing functional specifications, specifically for Salesforce requirements.
• Experience with data migrations from third party technology to Salesforce.com
• Experience designing and building third party integrations with Salesforce.com
• Experience and knowledge of DevOps in salesforce.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications - Here are the preferred qualifications for this role:

• Development experience with either JAVA or Siebel.
• Prior OO programming in JAVA, Ruby or .Net preferred.
• Force.com platform experience.
• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
• Minimum of 3 years Salesforce.com development experience.
• Minimum of 3 years development experience with Force.com, Visual Force or APEX.
• SSO & web services experience.
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• Minimum of 3 years' experience of requirements gathering, testing & training experience.
