Job Summary:
The IT Developer - Salesforce will be a technical resource supporting Inogen Salesforce & Call Center business systems. This position will work closely with members of the IT team, Business Stakeholders, and 3rd party vendor partners to analyze business system processes, create technical designs and participate on development teams to implement technical solutions and provide ongoing management & support of Salesforce & Call Center business systems. The IT Developer – Salesforce will participate in or review all of the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software.

Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)
- Participate in and lead Salesforce implementations, providing both oversight and hands-on contributions to the design, development, and integration.
- Analyze Inogen business requirements and technical designs to create detailed development plans, code, and implement robust solutions.
- Design, develop and maintain application architectures that support client's business requirements.
- Perform code reviews for development team members to ensure proper coding standards are followed.
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise during the Production or Project lifecycle.
- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
- Communicate with the IT project manager, and direct reporting manager to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, unit testing, and deployment.
- Develop interfaces, and module enhancements using Salesforce & 3rd party development tools.
- Perform installation, setup, configuration, and user administration of application system modules.
- Perform unit, integrated and functional tests and resolve issues found during unit testing.
- Create technical design documents from Inogen business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications systems, reports, and interfaces.
- Monitor Salesforce performance and availability.
- Seek assistance from, and work with, application system vendor-partners to resolve support issues.
- Support and drive sales, service, and marketing projects, including technical documentation of business requirements, solution and technical design, test plan design, and coordination of testing with end-users.
- Maintain data quality through ongoing data analysis, record de-duplication, and other related tasks, and identify and implement process improvements that contribute to improved data quality.
- Design, implement, and UAT custom objects and advanced functionality and workflows, based on project roadmap and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with any other duties as assigned.

- Deep and broad hands-on experience with using, configuring, and developing within Salesforce, specifically the custom development application tools and platform used to expand out-of-the-box functionality and enhance the user experience/Interface on Classic or Lightning component:
- SOQL Language hands-on extensive experience
- Apex Classes, Visualforce, Process Builder, Workflows, Triggers, custom configurations
- JavaScript, Java, or similar languages
- Force.com
- HTML5, CSS
- Web Services APIs, SOAP, REST, Bulk and Metadata
- Database warehousing, modeling, and data extract (SOQL, SQL, Dell Boomi, Informatica, Salesforce IQ)
- Current Stack Includes (but is not limited to):
- Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud)
- Vonage Contact Center
- Dell Boomi
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, required.
- 5+ years’ experience in sales, service, and marketing administrations in Salesforce.com or other equivalent Salesforce applications, required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in developing third party interfaces, required.
- Salesforce.com Certification (Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II), required
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency with operational support using Salesforce.com or other equivalent Salesforce applications, required.
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency of Salesforce.com, APIs, interfaces, and complex reports, required.
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency in software development and/or object-oriented programming, with a preference for APEX proficiency, required.
- Intermediate knowledge/proficiency Working Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud, required.
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency and development experience with Salesforce.com, New Voice Media, and/or other similar enterprise-scale Salesforce, Service & Call Center business systems, required.
- Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Business Intelligence, Master Data Management, and or force.com, required.
- A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
