Developer, IT – Marketing and Partner Automation
THE OPPORTUNITY:We’re looking for an IT professional who thrives in the Marketing and Partner automation software space. The two primary applications in scope for this position are Marketo and ZiftONE. Both platforms are highly integrated into our Lead to Opportunity processes, leveraging available APIs/Webservices. On platform, the developer will be responsible for advanced configurations as driven by business requirements. This position will also be responsible for working on any issues identified that are not resolvable by our IT help desk, working with the vendor where appropriate.
YOU ARE GREAT AT:
- Translating and validating business requirements and creating functional/technical requirement documents working within the framework of the tools available
- Interacting with Business representatives to ensure their requirements are being met
- Developing solutions to meet the business requirements while meeting time and cost constraints
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, code, unit test, implementation)
- Adhering to IT Change Management and best practices
- Investigating and fixing advanced (3rd level) application issues
- Building good working relationships with other technical groups
- Proactively identifying areas where we could improve and making recommendations on how to improve
- Working with APIs, on platform scripting and data manipulation
WHAT IT TAKES:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree, College diploma or equivalent experience
- Hands on experience with Marketo, ideally certified but not required
- Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience consuming APIs and Webservices
- Experience with integrating Marketo and Salesforce
- An aptitude to learn new technology quickly
- Effective documentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to handle multiple streams of work effectively
- Experience with the ZiftONE platform would be a benefit but not required
