You are primarily responsible for responsible for the development and configuration of microservices and systems that support the acquisition, transformation, preparation, analysis, and delivery of healthcare and other data for operational and data science needs.

What you'll bring

• Strong working knowledge of Java
• Hands on experience in JAVA based API implementations is a plus
• Take vague requirements and transform them into concise deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a fast-paced environment
• Work in a collaborative, team-centric environment utilizing agile principles.

·Lead an agile team by example. Mentor fellow engineers, establish leading practices, enforce quality, and take ownership of the codebase.

·Follow leading DevOps cloud practices such as continuous delivery, automation, infrastructure as code, containerization and orchestration.

·Explore new technologies and techniques to continuously delivery innovation to customers.

The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring
 

·7+ years of relevant experience, required.

·Requires a BS or MS in Computer Science (Master’s preferred) or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of software development experience.

·Requires current hands-on experience with modern software development techniques including full stack development, Service Oriented Architecture and third-party integration techniques and technologies.

·Experience in new product, system or application development and delivery.

Nice to have

·Experience with healthcare integration protocols such as HL-7 or SMART on FHIR.

·Experience integrating with enterprise systems or EMRs is highly desirable

·AWS development and implementation experience is highly desirable.

·Healthcare industry experience; understanding of HIPAA and it’s impact on security requirements, development, and logging
