About the Job:

As a member of the Technology team, you will help define, establish, and evolve our full-stack development capacities. You will be tasked in creating innovative solutions that advance our clients businesses. You’ll join a strong and inspiring team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high-quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Perform hands-on Java Development, adoption of modern software engineering & delivery practices using Java, Spring Boot, and Test Automation
• Develop source code and descriptions for all software components in accordance with detailed software requirements specification, functional design, and technical design documentation and backlog
• Capture build and deployment notes and develop software product deployment & operating instructions
• Fix software defects/bugs, measure and analyze code for quality, and test coverage
• Develop mathematical calculations that perform expected results and handle negative test case scenarios
• Work closely with Project Manager / Delivery Manager to understand needs around client stakeholder management
• Contribute to the definition of development and software standards to implement/reflect guidelines (naming conventions, encryption, and security setting)
• Be passionate about being part of the engineering team that is forming the future of finance and lead a small team of developers if required
• Travel to customer locations and deliver professional services when needed

What You’ll Bring with You:

• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with 2+ years of experience
• 2+ years of active development delivery experience, with 1+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC, with continuous deployment (cd)/continuous integration (ci)
• Experience in JAVA, (micro) services, Tableau, and REST APIs development, continuous integration (CDCI) as well as test driven development (TDD) and behavior driven development (BDD)
• Tableau Experience
• Build/CICD experience with Teamcity/Jenkins (preferred), Maven, Sonar, Git/stash, Docker, or similar

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
