Project Manager - Job Overview

As an IT Project Manager you will lead a cross functional team to ensure all assigned project requirements are on schedule and on track. You will plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific projects. You will submit project deliverables, prepare status reports and effective project communication plans for IT colleagues and business stakeholders.

An ideal candidate will also have but not limited to, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a PMP certification. You will have experience using PM software, business and service desk workflow platforms (like ServiceNow and Jira) and be proficient in MS Office Applications including Project and Visio. You must have experience managing multiple project resources that are cross functional in nature, and a significant ability to keep all resources accountable for their timely deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines, schedules, communications
• Lead project teams in meeting client expectations and project deliverables
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities among project resources
• Manage, keep accountable IT project resources from strategic partners
• Identify, mitigate resolve, escalate project issues
• Prepare project status reports and/or proper cadence of communications
• Coordination of change requests
• Use technology and/or proper communication channels to ensure all parties are informed on schedule and budget
• Conduct post-project evaluation

Job Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or related IT discipline
• Professional Project Management Certification required (from accredited institution)
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
• 5 years Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud experience required
• Certified Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud Administrator preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a collaborative environment/approach
• Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Proven experience managing a team
• Experience using business workflow platforms to manage projects, SIT, QA, UAT (Jira, ServiceNow a plus)
• Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project and Visio
• Excellent communication skills - written, oral and presentation
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
• Willing to travel to NY, NJ area offices
