Lead Mulesoft Developer to join team to execute and deliver transformations like SAP S4 Green-Field Implementation and become a key member in Middleware Integration Center of Excellence. This exciting work involves taking a lead role in developing modules/components and services that will enable common frameworks for enterprise adoption using Mulesoft. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for leading and defining the Integration Practice as part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership and also drive standards and designs. As a Senior Software Engineer, the candidate will also help define short and long term strategic roadmaps and implementation of the roadmap enabling strategic business goals. The Senior Software Engineer will develop and foster close relations with key stake holders within business organization as well as IT organization to understand their requirements and to help shape implementation roadmap supporting strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

• Provides thought leadership to rest of the development team
• Help team members with orchestration of development activities
• Work closely with Solution and Enterprise Architecture to ensure strategic solutions are in line with enterprise reference architecture
• Develop RESTful APIs and web applications using 12 factor application principles.
• Apply knowledge of the latest trends in the industry and engage with other team members to consult and help to implement appropriate technology practices / solutions
• Own and lead design principles for a specific product.
• Own and lead CI/CD implementation for the product (including establishing code quality practices, code merge practices, establishing test automation practices)
• Set up sustainable and automated code quality / review practices
• Lead API lifecycle development
• Configuring and deploying Mulesoft flows
• Configuring and testing various connectors to products in the enterprise
• Configuring and testing messaging queues
• Helps software engineering teams in technical direction and standard development practices
• Possess strong fundamental software engineering craftsmanship, design principles , data structures and algorithms
• Foster, design and implement secure & patterned coding practices
• Provide technical mentorship to junior staff member
• Prepares documentation that describes installation and operating procedures, including application user guides, with limited guidance.
• Provides first/second level troubleshooting, technical and operational support with limited guidance.
• Participates in technical design. Can develop from specifications, under limited guidance.
• Produces documentation for changes and enhancements to current systems under limited guidance.
• Learns to build productive networks with internal clients.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience in general software applications delivery
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and applications using Java
• Expertise with Spring Web, Spring Boot, Spring Integration
• Experience and insights into all aspects of Mulesoft API ecosystem such as anypoint studio, Mulesoft exchange, runtime and access manager, designer, API portal, etc. is preferred.
• Hands on experience with Mulesoft expression language is a plus
• Experience in automating custom tasks with in Anytime platform
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and publishing APIs into Any point exchange
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (using toolsets such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, Maven, Artifactory, Jmeter, Gatling, Junit, etc.) is a must
• 3+ years of experience with RDBMS and / or Object oriented DB
• Experience with Spring Batch is a plus
• Experience with NoSQL DB is a plus
• Experience with cloud native app architecture and design principles a huge plus
• Experience with Spring Cloud / Spring Configuration/ Spring Vault is desirable
• Experience with deploying to containers
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
