Position Overview

The Product Manager is a seasoned
professional skilled in developing and implementing product strategy and
product roadmaps for highly complex digital communication products and services
that span email, SMS/MMS, push notifications and print. The Product Manager is
responsible for driving capabilities and features for use in providing
personalized digital communication journeys for our customers. As a seasoned
marketing professional, the Product Manager understands the dynamics of the digital
communications industry, new and emerging communication products and technologies/applications,
has a thorough understanding of customers’ needs and ensures the development of
a compelling customer experience; driving results and product accountability.

Responsibilities
  • Drive capability and feature development roadmap
and priority for our customer communication platform in conjunction with
lead product manager * Conduct multi-year product planning to

determine product life-cycle decisions, ensure consistency with overall
marketing and corporate strategy, and achieve product performance,
revenue, market share/penetration, and profitability objectives * Act as the foremost expert within the product

marketing discipline and an acknowledged authority within the organization
  • Develop business plans and product positioning
in the marketplace * Provide readout to leadership level regarding

products and plans as assigned * Work with marketing and sales operations teams

to develop marketing and order communication journeys * Work with service and billing operations teams

to develop service and billing related communication journeys * Establish requirements to effectively manage

and track to a plan of record, including total sales, revenue, churn and
contribution * Foster strong relationships with internal and

external resources. Engage with different functional teams and
business units (in order to drive business success and optimization

Required Qualifications:
  • Five years product management experience
  • Familiar with customer communication platforms, journey mapping and common industry delivery methods for email, SMS, push notifications and print
  • Must be comfortable with conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior level management and across a diverse product team
  • Product launch and lifecycle management experience
  • Previous experience leading a cross-functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment
  • Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in full stack software development, ideally in support of a communications platform
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework and/or Agile development and Lean Portfolio Management principles
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture and continuous integration/continuous deployment techniques
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar communication platform preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce integration layers like Mulesoft
  • Product management experience within high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom industry highly desired
