What We're Looking For

You actively participate in the development and implementation stages of the system development life-cycle including analysis, coding, troubleshooting, documentation, and testing.

Position Summary

As the Lead Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for creating technical and business communications and developing, enhancing, and maintaining automated business solutions. You will design, implement, troubleshoot, and document all assigned areas of responsibility within the IT applications. You will adhere to the architectural standards of the team and department and for overcoming technical challenges. You will need to effectively communicate with other development team members and demonstrate the ability to deliver quality results in a timely fashion.

Role Responsibilities
  • Apply focused knowledge of processes, according to area of development, to the data requirements, automated business solutions, integration issues.
  • Write well-commented code and adhere to naming conventions. Submit code for review, if required, and adhere to the standards established by team leads.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and/or other members of their technical teams during requirements gathering and provide guidance on writing technical specifications.
  • Participate in activities with team members for successful transition of application through development, testing, implementation, and maintenance stages.
  • Participate in technical discussion for projects and enhancements.
  • Support the development of internal tools, deployment solutions, and processes for the development team.
  • Analyze functional components and design technical solutions for two or more functional areas as directed by management.
  • Work to build relationships with cross-functional team members to ensure successful implementations of company and department wide projects.
  • Work collaboratively with teams, as necessary, and assume individual responsibility for assigned portions of software development projects.
  • Provide support to other developers and development managers as needed.
  • Document data flows / processes for modules and projects assigned.
  • Provide a timely response when diagnosing and resolving support problems.
  • Troubleshoot a wide variety of standard to complex problems and identify solutions within broad applications and functional expertise.
  • Support QA and UAT for enhancements.
  • Report weekly status to the manager and project team.
  • Collaborate with teams in different geographical locations

Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Good understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities (security, Access controls, User Types etc.)
  • Functional knowledge on CRM concepts, domain expertise in sales, services business process (Leads, Campaign, Opportunity, Asset, Entitlements, Case etc.)
  • Object Oriented program understanding with good knowledge on XML, XSLT, HTML etc.
  • Solid hands on APEX development experience, Salesforce triggers, batch APEX, controllers, web components
  • Technical experience in configuration Lightning platform, quick actions, dynamic forms etc.
  • Experience with Data loader tools, workbench, SOQL, SOSL, SQL.
  • Good understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST), App-exchange integrations and customizations
  • Functional knowledge on Salesforce services and partner portals, communities and customizations
  • Familiarity with Source Control Technologies/Methodologies
  • Familiar in using MS Visio for designing application components, creating sequence diagrams, flow charts, etc
  • Familiar with technical functionality of core technologies used within business units supported and can use some of the following tools or technologies to manage and develop applications:
  • Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

Basic Qualifications
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience
