How will I add value to the role?
We're looking for a Lead Engineer to provide overarching technical authority for Salesforce development. To champion implementation quality, promote reuse, ensure adherence to best practice, drive cost effectiveness and mitigate risk.
You'll ensure the development effort meets the requirements of all stakeholders and managing multiple parallel work streams (onshore and offshore). You'll also be responsible for creating, maintaining and delivering the design documentation and providing subject matter expertise to facilitate and influence application development.
You'll have the desire to lead, and guide our Salesforce development teams, defining coding standards, and driving the adoption of component principles and standards.
And you're not one for standing still. You're always keeping current with departmental technology and identifying opportunities for improvement, and enhancements
What will I need to be successful?
It goes without saying that your Salesforce development and Apex programming experience will be well established, along with your solid knowledge of SOAP, and REST API integrations.
As we look to create a Devops culture, your experience in using version control systems and Salesforce DevOps approaches/concepts will be invaluable.
But success isn't purely built on your technical expertise. Your ability to lead a team on a our Agile journey, and build relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers will see you thrive in this role

- Formal SFDC certifications (ideally the Platform Developer I & II or the previous 501 equivalent)
- Knowledge and experience of Vlocity
- Knowledge of security best practices
