Role: Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: Tunbridge Wells/UK wide (remote working available)

Salary: £55-70k

Our Tunbridge Wells based client is currently looking for a Salesforce Lead to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join our client as they being their Salesforce journey, to act in a true leadership role and help shape the strategy and act as a real SME within the business. You will join a friendly and supportive IT engineering team within a comfortable and modern office environment with the potential to work remotely and to flex your hours (there will not be a requirement to be in the office 5 days a week and they can be very flexible to accommodate remote working from other locations within the UK). The role will sit within an Agile delivery team, leading the development and support of their new Salesforce powered customer platform using Service, Sales, Health and Marketing cloud.

Responsibilities will include:

• Drive the design, development and support of their strategic customer platform, employing best practice in architecture, design, development and deployment
• Work within an agile team, adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles
• Focus on automation and code quality, working with automated release pipelines and automated test packs to ensure a highly efficient and quality product is shipped to our users
• Act as coach and mentor for junior members of our Development teams
• Promote continuous improvement both within specific technology areas and across the IT department

Key Skills and Experience:

• Previous development experience with Salesforce
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1
• Solid understanding of, and detailed experience with, Salesforce architecture and best practice
• Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard)
• Writing well-documented code in Apex, Triggers, Lightning and Lightning Web Components
• Configuration and process automation such as Flows and Process builder
• Integrating Salesforce with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async

• SFDX for development and automation
• GIT version control

Desirable :

• Familiar with Azure Devops
• Health Cloud
