The Lead Salesforce Solution Architect supports and may lead the architecture, designing and governance of low to medium complexity technology solutions with business impact targeted at a limited set of business capabilities.Job Description
As a Lead Salesforce Solution Architect, you will design and provide governance of technology solutions that deliver business value on our Salesforce team while continuously improving speed to market. You will create road maps that translate business requirements into technology solutions and Specify technology roadmaps for solutions, compliance of application and technical infrastructure development with company and industry standards within a functional area of accountability. You influence future systems architecture and assess emerging technologies for application to Thrivent’s initiatives and provides technical expertise for next generation initiatives. A solution(s) architect is a technical leader with a deep understanding of business goals, business processes, and solutions architecture who designs and supports the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural standards.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, and analysis of solutions enabling specific business capabilities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives.
• Propose solution recommendations and alternatives to satisfy customer needs.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, applications and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designs.
• Produce technical documentation of systems and architectures.
• Ensure compliance of solutions to architectural standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert on technologies and trends in the Solution Architect’s domain of expertise.
• Act as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendor offerings.
  
  

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Technology related field (Salesforce specific)
• Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience delivering presentations to management and technical audiences.
• Good understanding of agile principles and development methodologies.
• Experience developing solution architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams and overseeing the design of software solutions.
• Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly life insurance.
• Demonstrated learning agility.
• Demonstrated experience with integration patterns, service-oriented architecture, development frameworks, and aligning to architecture standards.
• Ability to effectively communicate conceptual and complex ideas to managers and software engineers to effectively influence the design of specific solutions.
• More than five years of architecture design and implementation experience.
• Strong background in application and solution development.
• In-depth knowledge of systems design, architecting and implementing low to medium complexity business systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills.
