What Does the Role Entail?
The Lead UX Designer will be a key player in implementing and maintaining Salesforce solutions at Sequoia. This team member will devise thoughtful Salesforce user experiences and will help craft optimized Salesforce applications. The Lead UX Designer will be a key liaison between our product, technical, and business stakeholders, such as sales and client service.
What You'll Do
- Craft the vision for a well-functioning Salesforce ecosystem
- Explore, adopt, and develop optimal Salesforce usage patterns
- Design custom screens, dashboards and reports, plus workflows
- Create requirements, designs, and user stories
- Partner closely with Sequoia's Tech Team to build best-in-class solutions
- Collaborate with Salesforce Solutions Team to keep our SFDC ecosystem running smoothly
- Work directly with Salesforce to implement the best product offerings for Sequoia
- Lead cross-team collaboration and design sessions
- Assist in integrating third party applications
- Own and lead ongoing projects
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; studies in design, process, and/or customer relations preferred
- 6+ years' experience in computer software product development
- 2+ years' experience developing solutions around Salesforce CRM
- Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce, including best practices across the platform and third party tools
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision
- Be knowledgeable about business structures and how to implement them in Salesforce effectively
- Hands-on experience with new features and third party solutions; able to outline the pros and cons
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups and to senior leaders
- Strong project and process background, experienced in Agile methodology
- Experience using Figma design software preferred
- Be a team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment
