We are looking for a Manager, IT - Salesforce to lead one of our core Information Technology teams supporting a global Financial Services education firm. The Senior Manager, IT Salesforce is a hands-on leader that is responsible for core technology platforms supporting a rapidly business growing and helps bring high growth products and services to worlds largest banks, consulting firms, government institutions, etc.

The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated individual with a startup mindset who thrives in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment. This person must have exceptional resource management and prioritization skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. This energized individual not only possess the technical skills, knowledge, and experience required but will also fosters a positive attitude and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

In this role, the Manager, IT - Salesforce, exercises a broad understanding of infrastructure domains, strategic planning capabilities, technical acumen and operational experience with CRM technologies. This person is involved in the definition, prioritization and support of key initiatives and operational items. Additionally, this leader translates business requirements into actionable plans, programs, and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team - in an Agile environment - consisting of 5 Salesforce resources including analysts, developers and administrators
• Collaborate with key IT staff members to plan, direct, control and maintain effective CRM controls that pass audit checks and follow Adtalem change management principles.
• Drive continuous improvement of the enterprise intake review and become an internal business partner with Adtalem institutions through leadership, collaboration, and initiative.
• Accountable for the delivery of Salesforce services, sprint releases and products to Adtalem internal customers. Additionally, respond to global customer needs by development, definition and delivery of new Salesforce product concepts.
• Work with all Enterprise Solutions and Infrastructure leaders to create mechanisms that proactively identify, track, mitigate, and report technology risks while following established product strategies.
• Drive the design and development of a multi-year strategy that encompasses people, process, and technology.
• Ensure teams are optimally tracking and reporting on IT assets across Adtalem, while maintaining cost and operational efficiency.
• Lead team members in drafting and deploying process improvement and knowledge management competencies across enterprise solutions.
• Attract and retain talent developing a high performing team.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

#LI-Remote Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience required. Masters degree desired.
• 3+ years of senior-level IT leadership experience, overseeing multiple IT functions.
• 6+ years of overall IT experience, including DR/BCP, operations, and service delivery.
• 3+ years of experience implementing and managing Salesforce development teams.
• Experience with proven strategic leadership, business relationship management, IT finance and asset management.
• Experience managing large projects and in the creation of complex operational processes and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and/or other CRM solutions, SDLC and Agile best practices, techniques and technologies.
• Experience in deploying and utilizing mature IT risk management methods and methodologies to gauge overall business risk and business impact.
• Possess effective communication, risk management, and risk-based decision-making skills, enabling you to work effectively under stressful conditions.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a consultative role with other Senior Technology Managers and IT Executive Leadership.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate environment, work in cross-functional collaborative teams and implement organizational change management.
• Ability to deal with a fast pace and fast changing environment to meet internal and external customer needs.
