What You’ll Be Doing…
The Marketing Technology Project Manager will work to manage the teams internally driven projects, support some initiatives across the broader Marketing Operations team, and collaborate with the customer strategy teams to build integrated customer journeys and campaigns. This role will have an impact on our marketing, sales, and company performance as a whole by owning and pushing these projects to completion. Additionally, this role will provide structure and process to drive efficiencies in how the team executes and tracks their work. You will prepare and drive weekly work reviews and quarterly planning cycles, develop and understanding of team capacity, and improve overall team efficiency and productivity.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Team Project Management: Driving forward the timeline set for the project, working with managers to resource project appropriately, keep stakeholders informed through effective communication.
Marketing Operations Project Management: Support overall Marketing Operations accountability and tracking for yearly projects and deliverables (the Marketing Technology team is a part of Marketing Operations)
Marketing Technology & Systems: You’ll become an expert in our marketing systems, especially Eloqua. You’ll understand lead management, marketing data, and analytics. This will help you understand how to scope projects accurately, recommend action to stakeholder, speak to capabilities, and communicate impact.
Cross-Marketing Project Management: Partner with other parts of marketing to drive email and other marketing technology deliverables for large cross functional projects (such as our cross-marketing campaigns). In this role you will work closely with audience & campaign leads, other project managers, and resource managers to develop requirements, make staffing decisions, establish timelines and advocate for your team’s happiness and satisfaction.
Drive Improvement & Measure Projects: Continue to drive improvements in our project execution process. Measure and track projects in WorkFront. Use Tableau to help visualize team project process, productions, and resource availability.
Who You Are…
Experienced. 4+ years working in a B2B environment with project management focus on marketing/sales. Experience with a automation technology. (Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
Educated. BA/BS degree in marketing or equivalent related work experience.
Domain. Experience with Eloqua or another marketing automation system. Capacity Process Development and Management.
Preferred Experience. Experience with Salesforce.com and reporting tools as well as with Workfront is Preferred. Moderate ability with Tableau Software preferred.
Technically Savvy. Ability to work with different technologies/applications and learn and apply new methods and programs quickly.
Excellent Communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Performer. Comfortable working in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to work with different technologies/applications as well as learn and apply new methods and programs quickly.
Service Minded. Willingness to train and knowledge share.
Adaptive. Ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of people.
Team Player. Enthusiasm and a willingness to help others team members.
