Position Overview: Senior Level BizOps Engineer ( Release Management/ Release Train Engineer/ Scrum Lead)

Skills:

• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
• Having an appetite for change and pushing the boundaries of what can be done with automation.
• Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.

Work Experience:

• Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
• Experience in Java, web services (rest and soap APIs), certificates, Spring framework, load balancing, and application security.
• PEGA experience preferred.
• Experience with tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Experience in working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and build relationships is a must.
• Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decisions with a sense of urgency is needed.

Preferred Qualification:

• Proficient in status reports, release status, and iteration planning.
• Participated in feature grooming and elaboration sessions, backlog prioritization, and demand management.
• Proficient with scrum delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to help debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
• Work with a global team spread across tech hubs in multiple geographies and time zones.
• Conduct release retrospectives.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and contributing towards DevOps automation and best practices.
• Work with cross-functional development, engineering, testing, customer delivery, customer implementation, and product and architecture teams.
• Understand the gating criteria for promoting code through environments.
• Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide a feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
