Salesforce QA Engineer

Job Description:

The eBay Global Payments Technology organization (GPO) includes a software engineering team that is responsible for mission-critical applications needed to support payments, billing and risk-related operations.

The GPO Technology team is looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer

You will work as a member of our project team developing a suite of software applications on Salesforce.com platform; Work as a key member of the delivery team to understand requirements and identify, plan, design and develop tests for functional testing that will enable the team to quickly deliver quality solutions using agile development and testing practices.

Main responsibilities include:

• As a Salesforce QA engineer, you will be responsible for the design, documentation, and execution of automated and manual test cases, and scripts
• Prepare functional, non-functional and User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases
• Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including changes and potential system implications related to Salesforce release upgrades
• Create Salesforce test strategy and test approach documents
• Participate in sprint release activities and post release support activities
• Participate in user story mapping, sprint planning, estimation and feature walk-through
• Identify risks and provide mitigation plan
• Participate in testing Salesforce.com custom applications
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to create and adapt to new technologies in Salesforce
• Work closely with the business analysts, product owners, designers and developers
• Communicate with non-technical audience to understand business needs and explain complex systems and technical topics in clear and concise manner

Required skills and qualification:

• Must Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science or related field
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with 4 years of exclusive SFDC QA experience
• Technical Experience on projects involving implementation & support of Salesforce
• Experience with Salesforce development platform Apex, VisualForce, SOQL ,Lightning Components, LWC JavaScript, html, CSS
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming languages
• Experience in designing and building test automation scripts using Selenium in a Salesforce environment
• Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, Data migration, System integration Testing and familiar with MVC architecture.

• Have In-depth understanding of Salesforce capabilities and constraints
• Develop systems to automate the Build and Deployment from manual to tools like Jenkins, Bamboo and Ansible, DevOps CICD Integration
• Develop Automation Unit Test Frameworks using Junit, TestNG using Selenium Webdriver and Java
• Experience with APIs and API testing tools Postman, SOAP UI
• Knowledge of DevOps & Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment
• Knowledge of performance, security, latency testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders

Preferred skills:

• Expertise in Salesforce Testing
• Hands-on experience on Automation tool
• Certified Salesforce.com Administrator (ADM-201)
