Project description: The client, a leading global markets infrastructure business, is seeking a highly skilled Domain Expert Architect for Yieldbook, a part of its Information Services Division (ISD), to modernize the client’s existing APIs as well as help migrate to their new API management tool. This engagement has potential to be long-term and will play a key role in the Company’s API strategy, with potential for a longer-term engagement.

• Commercial API expertise – Non-negotiable
• Hands on experience with high volume commercial APIs to produce a full set of API specs with the client team
• Solid understanding of Analytics and Yieldbook, a premier fixed income analytics system  – non-negotiable
• Review and consulting on architecture, documentation and team augmentation
• Strategic analysis from an architecture perspective to put together a strategic architecture document
• Creation of API documentation to a high standard
• Experience in REST API Development including refactoring and ability to plug in C++ code
• Cloud experience is critical with contribution and documentation of how the client would transition the target state into cloud in the future
• Experience in onboarding an API Management tool such as APIGEE, Mulesoft or Kong
• Ability to set-up a working PoC
