NorthWinds Technology Solutions is a new technology company developed from two industry leaders in Dental Insurance: Delta Dental of Illinois and Delta Dental of Wisconsin. Our Product team is expanding and we are adding a new team member to our Development area of our organization. This new position will work primarily with our MuleSoft technology. This position will be 40 hours per week and can be based at our Naperville, IL or Stevens Point, WI locations, or we will consider a remote candidate. In this role, you will have a variety of duties which could include:

  • Analyzing, designing, implementing, and testing APIs built with MuleSoft’s API Platform
  • Defining, developing, testing, analyzing, modifying, and maintaining new and existing software applications to support the requirements of the business
  • Hands on-technical writing, translating, and coding within MuleSoft platform
  • Researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications through the production lifecycle
  • Participating in various enterprise project teams, to include defining software development project plans for scoping, scheduling and implementation
  • Working closely with the Middleware Architect to understand business needs and designing robust and scalable solutions to meet those needs

Additional preferred skills for this position would be:

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or IBM I integration
  • Understanding of Agile development practices
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • MuleSoft certifications such as MCD Developer – Mule 4
  • CI/CD using Maven, Jenkins
  • Git version control management
  • Mule 3 and 4

Qualifications:

At least 1-2 years of experience in MuleSoft API development to include: RAML, 3-layered development, DataWeave, unit testing

At least an associates degree in computer science or related field
