Job Title: Mulesoft Enterprise Architect

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 14+Months

Description: Seeking a candidate with Strong hands-on skills with MuleSoft Any point Platform and stay current on MuleSoft products, strategies, and good practices. Engage on projects as a trusted advisor and architect to address questions, make architecture recommendations, educate internal and external teams, and support the delivery team on the project.

Support and oversee all phases of the development life cycle on MuleSoft project engagements, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support. Help manage the technical scope on engagements to prevent scope creep and deviation from the contract. Follow good practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, test-case-based development, and proper documentation practices.

Required Skills:

  • Analyzing customer service requirements and designing service solutions to meet those objectives
  • Working knowledge of RAML/YAML, REST APIs
  • Programming in Java/J2EE
  • Subject Matter Expert in MuleSoft for technical services, to both internal and external customers, ranging from formal advice to internal and external customer presentations
  • Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals, clients, and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
  • Experience working with AnyPoint studio, versions 3.x, 4.x
  • Enterprise Application Integration development experience with at least 5+ years of MuleSoft development

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing large-scale integration and API solutions using MuleSoft
  • Experience in creating RAML and SWAGGER based API contracts and mocking services
  • Able to interpret requirements and architect Mule services/integrations in CI/CD and Agile process
  • Ability to make technology decisions related to Mulesoft environment
  • Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with creating best practices documents and reusable templates on Mulesoft
  • Assist integrations team in adopting and learning MuleSoft
  • MuleSoft Administration experience preferred
  • Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
