MuleSoft Integration & Database Specialist- Higher Education

MuleSoft Integration & Database Specialist with knowledge of MuleSoft and SQL Server is urgently needed to join a Higher Education client to enable their digital transformation and new ways of working programme.

MuleSoft Integration & Database Specialist will be responsible for a critical part of the organisation's integration and will focus on architecting service integrations throughout the organisation, to ensure services are integrated in a secure, reliable, standardised, and optimised manner.

MuleSoft Integration & Database Specialist-Higher Education- Essential Experience

• Ability to design lead for Integration and Database projects, ensuring that new services are provisioned according to departmental standards.
• Expertise of of Mule ESB (Mule 4), Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, ideally being a MuleSoft Certified Developer or have equivalent experience.
• Significant experience within large, complex organisations with multiple data stores.
• Demonstrable experience in SQL Server implementations, enterprise integration technologies and API led architectures
• Experience of using Dataweave 2
• Experience of calling and creating RESTful and SOAP web services/APIs to access and integrate with external and internal systems
• Knowledge API design using RAML or OAS and API documentation
• Expereine of Scripting languages (Javascript/Groovy)
• Skills in SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL with a familiarity with JSON/XML/OData
• Understanding of business requirements and converting these into Integrations
• Excellent knowledge of relational database systems and database administration with significant experience of PL/SQL, SQL Management Studio and T-SQL
• Extensive experience of creating, maintaining and supporting Systems Interfaces

MuleSoft Integration & Database Specialist-Higher Education- Desirable Experience

• Skills Source Control, Java, Web development experience (HTML/JavaScript/CSS/Single page frameworks), Microsoft Graph, Azure API Management/AWS API Gateway
• Experience of designing, installing, configuring, supporting and testing database servers (Oracle, MYSQL and MS SQL)
• ITIL
