Description
Our client in the financial services industry is looking to hire 2 contract Middleware/ Integration Engineers with expertise in designing, building, and implementing services, micro services, APIs and ETL flows for multiple on premises and/or hybrid cloud environments.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mulesoft Anypoint platform including Mule Runtime, Connectors, Anypoint Studio, Design Center and API management
• Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks
• Participate in requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementation
• Ability to effectively explain complex technical issues to project managers, peers, and architects in an easy to understand manner, and recommend clearly thought out solutions
• Solid understanding of synchronous/asynchronous communication patterns, queueing systems and performance tradeoffs
• Knowledge of Integration Design patterns for ETL/ELT workloads and building resilient and robust middleware solutions
• Ability to suggest, critique and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor environment
• Troubleshoot issues and provide bug fixes
• Good knowledge of SOA architecture and fluency in web service standards such as SOAP, WSDL, REST
• Strong understanding of relational databases; experience working with different adaptors and connectors
• Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management, SLA, Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution and orchestration using Mulesoft
• Provide status updates on a timely manner and be accountable for on-time delivery

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working hands on with the MuleSoft Anypoint platform as a developer
• 8+ years of software development experience, software integration and/or other ESB experience
• Proven hands on experience with Mule4
• Strong knowledge of RAML and separation of interface/implementation-based Mule application design
• Strong command of DataWeave expression language for authoring data transformations
• Familiarity with Microsoft technology ecosystem
• Proficient in authoring robust custom Mulesoft connectors
• Strong knowledge of EAI/SOA best practices, development methodologies & standards
  Strong knowledge of design patterns, SOAP, ASMX, WCF and REST Web Services
• Experience with Mulesoft administration, configuration, tuning and operational support
• Experience in troubleshooting mule applications
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Familiarity with multiple security protocols: SAML, OAuth, Kerberos
• Strong understanding of networking, hybrid on-prem /cloud Mulesoft deployments

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
