Orion Group are recruiting a Mulesoft Lead on behalf of our Multinational Pharmaceutical Client on an initial short term contract based in Berkshire.
Mulesoft Lead
Work with the ITSO and the Integration enablement team to create and update coding standard, Business services capabilities, review demand and help define the MuleSoft platform for the future. As well as working with the MuleSoft Development Team, MuleSoft Support Team, Project and IT groups and business contacts to guide, develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test integration within the MuleSoft eco system. Ensuring that standard design pattern are implemented, frame works services are crated and reuse is maximised
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of MuleSoft integration development, design, build, test, debug, deploy, manage APIs and integrations
- 1-3 years' experience implementing APIs using APIed connectivity.
- AnyPoint development tool, debugging techniques, performance tuning preferred, but not required
- Prior exposure to GIT, Jenkins, and AnyPoint MQ
- Working knowledge and solid understanding of data formats such as XML, CSV and JSON
- Working knowledge and solid understanding of typical integration technologies such as HTTP, JMS, JDBC,
- REST, SOAP, WebServices and APIs
- Proficiency with Java a plus
- Working knowledge of SAP and Workday preferred, but not required
- Previous experience within Pharmaceuticals preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills required to interact effectively with other technical groups, as well as, business leaders and process owners.
- Understanding of architectural concepts for MuleSoft implementations including encryption, security, logging, throttling, scalability, clustering, and securing solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into a comprehensive, well-formed technical design
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and with general guidance while delivering superior solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems quickly. Ability to methodically step through problems to understand where the problem originates and how to best resolve it
- Experience with continuous integration and test tools such as Maven and Hudson in a Java/SOA environment
- Strong consulting skills to work in a professional manner with customer IT and business users
- Ability to take "total ownership" of assignments to resolve issues and drive them to completion
