Brief Summary Of Role
The Integration Platform Architect will work as part of a team of MuleSoft Technical Architects and Technical Leads, delivering creative solutions for a diverse range of clients. The team is passionate about innovation. We use technology platforms that are market leading and best suited to our clients needs. However with the acquisition of MuleSoft by Salesforce we are focussing on this middleware solution.

Responsibilities
Participate in pre-sales calls to conduct feasibility assessment and provide creative solutions and level-of-effort estimates for customer requests and requirements.
Act as thought leader on the solutioning architecture domain, peering with all levels of customer parties up to CTOs, providing guidance on the MuleSoft and API-led way of working.
Evaluate middleware solutions and make customer-specific recommendations Define system architecture for data integration and data management.
Clearly articulate integration best practices, design patterns, best practices, and recommendations to customer IT teams and also business sponsors.
Provide solution and integration development with cloud and on-premise software including reference architectures, governance, requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment .
Education And Required Experience (Requirements)
10+ years of experience with technical implementations of customer projects, with an emphasis on integrations and middleware
5+ years of experience as an architect preferred
MuleSoft Platform Architect & MuleSoft Integration Architect certifications preferred
Expertise with REST and SOAP-based web services, data routing and transformation, application connectivity principles
Experience with the Mulesoft platform, Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform preferred
Experience with the Salesforce.com platform and SQL, Apex, SOQL or XML is a plus.
Expertise with SOA design principles and API-led connectivity including API management, design including data modelling and management, platform sizing and governance practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
