Salesforce Developer/Architect-Houston, TX- $150k-$170k

A computer software firm needs a permanent role for a Salesforce Developer/Architect responsible for developmental design and providing guidance for solution delivery products in the Houston area.

The Role

The company is looking an experienced Salesforce Developer. The role will report directly to senior management and provide technical leadership and direction on technology decisions. Will be directly involved with facilitating, evaluating, and monitoring the progress of the development of the product. This position is mostly remote but may require some travelling in the Houston area.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Collaborating with business leaders to build scale and efficiency into their operations
• Designing work-flow automation with management
• Facilitate training for End Users
• Provide technical guidance on solutions within Salesforce and other third-party environments
• Lead committee meetings on Salesforce governance
• Deliver strategic proposals to solve business needs

Core Responsibilities

• Develop Salesforce Org Strategy to manage current orgs across departments
• Define metrics and regular reports maintaining dashboards determining service performance
• Enforce security controls and maintain system roles as well as authorisation processes
• Support documentation of application deliverables that are consistent with the methodologies and best practices
• Report and manage staffing, goal setting, measurements, and resource allocation with FTE and contract workers

To be Successful you Must Possess:

• Salesforce Advanced Admin certification required
• Salesforce Architect certification or willingness to acquire certification
• Experience in marketing and service cloud required (Dev certification preferred)
• At least 7 years of experience in technical project leadership and execution within the Salesforce ecosystem
• Experience in building training programs for end users and tracking the uptake and retention through Salesforce trail-heads
• Proven track record in maintaining integrity, transparency and quality in governance, performance and in reporting activities
